Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home on Saturday, May 11, 2013 surrounded by his family, Mervin Chislett of Green’s Harbour, aged 73 years. Predeceased by his parents: Ephriam and Leah Chislett and brother, Cecil (Shirley) Chislett. Leaving to mourn to celebrate his life with thanksgiving are his loving wife of 52 years Evelyn and three children; daughters: Veronica Lynn (Danny), Trudy Chislett and son Rod Chislett ( Karen); six precious grandchildren; Lindsey (Vee) Lakhani, Victoria, Kailey, Jamil, Hannah and Jacob; sister Susie Piercey ( Frank), sisters-in-law; Joan Summers and Mildred Pitcher (Roy). He is also lovinglyremembered by a number of nephews, nieces other relatives and many friends. Resting at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Green’s Harbour on Monday, May 13th 11:00 am until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 15th from St. Matthew’s Church Green’s Harbour at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at St. Matthew’s Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Mervin’s memory may be made to St. Matthew’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund.
