Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Health Sciences Centre on May 11, 2013. Melvin Nathan Worthman aged 70 years. Predeceased by parents: Melvin and Cora (nee Sooley); sister Yvonne; brothers: Ross and Raymond. Leaving to mourn daughter Nicole (Adam); grandson Daniel; sisters: Carrie, Mary (Henry) Sylvia (Ralph), Marilyn (Roch), Valerie (Art); brothers: Basil (Beryl), Winston (Mick), Chris (Marie), Hazen (Mercedes), Robert (Elaine); sister-in-law Linda Worthman. Also leaving to mourn nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. A special thanks to Dr. Fox and staff at the ICU of the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Monday May 13, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. James United Church on Wednesday May 15, 2013 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Melvin’s memory may be made to charity of ones choice.
