The family of Charles "Chickie" MacIntyre would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all that gave us comfort and support during Charles' recent passing. To all our neighbours, friends, coworkers, and acquaintances who sent food, flowers, donations in Charles' name, offered condolences and prayers, who phoned, visited and attended the funeral mass, your kindness will never be forgotten. Special thanks to the pallbearers Donald MacIntyre(son), David MacIntyre(son), Gus MacIntyre(brother), Neil MacNeil(brother-in-law), Joseph Jurcina(nephew) and Archie Ferguson(family friend). Also special thanks to Joanie MacIntyre(sister), Julia MacIntyre(daughter-in-law), and Janet Hodgson(niece) for your beautiful readings at the mass. Thank you to the doctors and staff of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital especially the trauma unit and EMT's. We are truly grateful to Annette Graham, Vince F. Gillis and the rest of the staff at TW Curry's Parkview Chapel for their guidance and support. Our sincere appreciation to Rev. Donald McGillivray and the St. Anthony Daniel's Church Choir for the beautiful celebration of Charles' life and to the ladies of the CWL for hosting a beautiful reception at the conclusion of the funeral service.
