It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful man at the Glenbrook Lodge Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 19, 2013. Predeceased by his son Bobby (3 1/2 years) and Jerome (35 years); parents: William and Ellen; brothers: William, Gerard, Brian, and Arthur; sisters: Mary Flynn and Theresa Walsh. Left to celebrate his life are his loving and devoted wife Patsy (nee Murphy); loving daughter Carolina (Dan) Fleming; sons: Ken (Karen) Jackman and Rodney (Tammy) Jackman; Precious grandchildren: Neil (Catherine) Fleming, Deanne Fleming of British Columbia, Greg Fleming, Dylan Jackman of Nova Scotia, Katie Jackman and Megan Clarke; two great-grandchildren: Jed and Reia Fleming of British Columbia; brother David (Rosemary) Jackman; sisters: Betty (Clary) Horton and Connie (Archie) Thomson; brothers-in-law: Chuck (Rita) Murphy of Toronto, Cyril Stamp and Nicholas Flynn; sisters-in-law: Phyllis Jackman and Mary Gio Jackman; as well as many other family and friends. A Special thank you to the staff and friends at the Glenbrook Lodge Nursing home for their care and friendship. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Rd, on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2013 at 10 a.m. from St. Kevin’s Church, Goulds followed by cremation as per Thomas’s wish. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
