McINTYRE, THOMAS - The passing of Thomas McIntyre, age 85, of Fredericton, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 23, 2013. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland on June 19, 1927. Thomas was a Foreman with Fredericton Housing for many years and following his retirement, he became a self-employed Painting Contractor. He was very proud of his home and worked tirelessly to keep it in immaculate condition. A devoted family man, Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Frances E. (Frith) McIntyre; a son David R. McIntyre of Fredericton; a daughter Suzan Gerlach of Alberta; three grandchildren, Shile, Kylie and Cera; a brother Robert McIntyre-Kelly of Fredericton and a nephew Michael McIntyre-Kelly of Alberta. His parents and two sisters predeceased him.
There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to any charity of the donor’s choice.
