Passed peacefully away on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s, Frazer Elias Short, age 80 years. He is predeceased by his parents Hubert & Elizabeth Short, infant daughter Ethel, sons Clyde and Frazer, granddaughter Kimberly Ann, brothers Les Lush, John and Norman Short and sister Emma Short. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: his wife Donna & their son Shawn (Jenna). Also his children from his first marriage Lloyd (Colleen), Edward, Ethel (Lennie), Elizabeth (Terry), Ronald, Alonzo, Lucy (Dave) and Georgina (Louise). Fondly remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, the Phelan Family and many caring friends. The family wish to express their thanks to Dr. Mary O’Brien for her care and attention to Frazer during his illness. We would also like to thank the staff of the 4 North A, Health Sciences Centre for their continued care to Frazer. At Frazer’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Friday, May 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, May 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Sunday, May 26th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Please, no flowers by request.
