Please join the friends and family of Melvin Piercey as they celebrate his life on June 1, 2013, 2:30 PM at the Church of the Ascension, 58 Smallwood Drive, Mt. Pearl. Melvin passed peacefully at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in his 88th year. Born in St. John’s on February 20, 1925, Melvin was predeceased by his wife Olive (Read) and infant children David George and Beverley Ann; his parents Charles and Susanna and sister, Rhoda Maude (Arthur) Piercey of Winterton. His inurnment with his wife Olive will be held in North Sydney, NS at a later date.
