We, the family, regret to announce the passing of Ruthy Smith of Sydney Mines on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at home.
Born in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of the late John and Martha (Campbell) Smith.
She was a member of St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by Billy, Bobby, Johnny and Catherine Young, all of Sydney Mines.
She was predeceased by aunts and uncles.
Visitation with be held at Fillmore and Whitman Funeral Home, 10 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines on Monday, June 3, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held at Fillmore and Whitman Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Marion Barklay MacKay officiating.
