It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the death of Jack (John) Herman Roberts, 57, of Hermitage, NL, on June 1, 2013.

Predeceased by his father Herman and leaving to mourn his wife Anita, son Andrew (Stefanie) Roberts, grandsons Owen, Zachary and Johnathan, mother Elsie Roberts, sister Madge (Melvin) Rose, brothers Harold (Lynn) Roberts, Gordon Roberts and Clark Roberts, stepdaughter Denise (Neil) Hackett (Grace, Leah and Ella), stepson Darrell Compton (Jada) and many loving nieces, nephews and close friends.

Jack was kind, humble, generous and caring. He was an excellent father and grandfather. He had a great love for hunting and fishing and he was always there with a helping hand.

Funeral service took place on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at 11:00 am from St. Saviour’s Anglican Church in Hermitage-Sandyville with Rev. G. Colbourne officiating.
