Alfred Cyril (Poppy) Mills
It is with deepest sadness and regret that we announce the sudden passing of Alfred Cyril Mills on Friday May 17, 2013.

Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Edward and Ellen (Greendige) Mills.

Cyril started his career at Mendelson’s Grocery. He later went on to manage Gillis’ Meat Market, as well as an on time employee of Brink’s Armoured Car Services and a one time member of The Canadian Black Watch.

Cyril is survived by his daughter Cheryl, Fort Nelson, BC and sons Kenneth, Glace Bay, NS, and Cyril, Fort St. John, BC. As well as his grandchildren Shalene and Blair, BC and Taylor, Rayanne, and Logan, NS. Also survived by his great grandson Jayden, BC and brothers Edward, ON, and Cecil, NS. As well as a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Henry, NS
