Daniel Chiasson
When A Father Cares
Daddy ups his little girl
He helps her see all of her world
He plays with her in sports and fun
And strengthens her for all to come
He adds what's special to her life
She's so important next to wife
He makes her happy so she'll dance
He gets her ready for romance
He polices her but in disguise
Cause she's a treasure in his eyes
He works on wings so she can fly
Yet dreads the day she'll say goodbye
He's there for her in all that's major
Precious moments made to savour
He's special- no one can fill his shoes
For one to try would make her lose
He is forever in her heart
And even death can't make them part
