Passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre on June 5, 2013, Mrs. Sybel Gibbons of Forrester’s Point, NL, in her 74th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters Kathy (Boris), Susan (Derek), Donna (Wilfred), and Daisy (Sam); sons Kirby (Edith), Ivan (Joan), and Roland (Peggy); grandchildren Kaitlyn, Courtney (Clay), Casey (Allie), Cody, Christopher (Sheena), and Corey (Glenda); great-grandchildren Alyssa, Natalie, and Marty, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Roland Sr., granddaughter Renita, and grandson Kirby. Visitation took place at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Black Duck Cove followed by the funeral service which was held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 9 with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
