MATTHEWS
Milne G. Matthews "Red" born in Shelburne, son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Buchanan) Matthews, 88 years old passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 at home after a long battle with cancer, with his wife and loving family by his side. He leaves his wife Janice, daughter Sandy and her husband John and son Pat and his wife Krystine, grandchildren Jessica, Matthew, Lialah and Lilli. Predeceased by his grandsons Lee, Evan and Thomas. He leaves a brother Don Matthews of Canada and Frances Gough of Arizona and many nieces and nephews. Milne served in the Royale Canadian Army during W.W.II and the Korean War. He was a member of the Masonic Albert Lodge #30, Belmont Beaver Lodge AF & AM and the Royal Arch for many years. Cremation has taken place. Donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen Street Framingham MA 01701.
