TWOHIG, MRS. MYRCUS - 1914-2013 - Dieppe, NB - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Myrcus Twohig, 98, which occurred at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton, NB on Saturday, June 22, 2013. Wife of the late Arthur A. Twohig. Born in Seal Rock, St. George's, NL, she was the daughter of the late James and the late Margaret (nee Marke) Bennett. She is survived by her daughter, Carole Fitzgerald (Robert) Steinbach, MB; her two sons, Bruce (Velma) of Dieppe, NB and Stephen (Margaret) of Moncton, NB; her sister, Mary Alice (Mae) Robicheau, Saulnierville, NS. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren; her eight great-grandchildren; and by one great-great- grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Myrcus was predeceased by her brother, Charles Bennett.
Donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, corner of West Lane, Moncton on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 7:00 pm. Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery.
