Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa, Ontario surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her first husband Stephen (1964) and her second husband Andrew (2008), her son Hal (1990) and grandson Shawn Newman (2009). Loving mother of Mary Bennett (Ed), Brendan (Theresa), Eileen Newman (Jim), Geraldine O’Donoghue (Brian), Stella Duddy (Bill), Justin (Leona), Paul (Bonnie), Mabel Katz (Norman), Winnie Downey (David), Al (Maureen) and Michelle Squires (Eugene). Sadly missed by 36 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Dorothy will be missed by her life long best friend of 84 years, Mary Broaders of Ajax, Ontario.
