It is with great sadness that the family of the late RUPERT PITTMAN SR. of Marystown, NL, announces his passing at his home in Marystown, on Wednesday, June 26th, at the age of 90. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons – Rube (Judy) of Marystown, Jim (Heather) of Burin, Eugene (Ursula) of Burin, David (Roxane) of Winterland and Cal (Mary Beth) of Marystown; Sisters – Lydia Fitzpatrick (Walter Withers), Sister Margaret Pittman (Sisters of Mercy) and Jessie Kirby (Gerard); 13 Grandchildren & 5 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by his Wife – Martha; Parents -
William & Clotilda; Brothers – John, David & William; Sisters – Mary-Anne Hynes, Ernestine Brake & Madonna O’Rourke-Lake.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Friday, June 28th, at 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery. In Rupert’s memory donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or flowers gratefully accepted.
