MONTEITH, COREY - Corey Monteith of Fredericton passed away unexpectedly at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on July 21, 2013. Corey was born in Bathurst, NB on March 28, 1974. He was the son of Brian and Linda (Dixon) Monteith. Besides his parents, who live in Fredericton, Corey leaves behind his wife Mista Monteith and her son Quinn of Fredericton; his sister Tina Lejeune (Jason) and their children Tate and Abbey, all of Fredericton; his paternal grandparents Archie and Etta Monteith of Medford; his brother-in-law Kayle Toner (Kati) and their daughter Kali all of Fredericton; several uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Weldon and Annie Dixon.
In respecting the family's wishes, visitation will be private. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. The Ven. Rev. Bonnie LeBlanc officiating. Interment will be in St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery, Medford. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Saint John Regional Hospital Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
