CORMIER, AURORE - Aurore Cormier of Résidence Oasis d'Or de Dieppe, formerly of St-Joseph passed away at her residence on July 27, 2013 at the age of 95. Born on January 22, 1918 in St-Joseph, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Gaudet and the late Albina Gaudet. She attended Saint-Thomas-de-Memramcook RC Church and was formerly the owner of the Restaurant Adrien and Aurore Cormier of St-Joseph, NB. She is survived by one sister, Sr. Rose-Marie Gaudet n.d.s.c. of Moncton; five sisters-in-law, Laurette, Antoinette, Marguerite, Dolores and Geraldine; and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, the late Adrien Cormier; by one sister, Catherine; and by seven brothers, Père Robert c.s.c., Père Romeo, Père Leonard c.s.c., Paul-Eugene, Joseph, Treffle and Alfred.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 Route La Vallée, Memramcook on Tuesday, July 30 from 2 to 4 pm. As per her wishes, the funeral service will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 pm. Interment will be held in Saint-Thomas-de-Memramcook Cemetery, St-Joseph.
