Passed peacefully away at St Clare’s Mercy Hospital after a brief illness Bobby Skanes, age 67 years of Fahey’s Personal Care Home, Fermeuse. Predeceased by his foster parents Leo and Margaret Brennan of Goulds. also good caring friends Jimmy Chidley and Clara Brophy. Leaving to mourn his devoted family of 37 years Gerald and Jean Fahey and their children who never knew life without Bobby. Also missing him, his special care givers for many years Sharon (girlfriend), Jennifer, Anna, Bernice, Catherine and Lorraine. His buddy and helpful friend and roommate for many years Eugene Ryan and other special friends Doug Boland, Charlie Murphy, Lou and Patsy Collett. Special Volunteers for many years Rita Brophy and Bernadette Kenny and Gabriella Nolander for her weekly banana treats and Marie Sesk for her visits with the Banana Bread. Also his visiting caregivers over the years. Remains resting at Fahey’s Funeral Home, Fermeuse. Visitation on Saturday, Aug. 3 and Sunday, Aug 4 from 2-7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, August 5 at 10 a.m. from St Charles Borromeo Church, Fermeuse.
