Passed peacefully away at the Bonavista Hospital on August 4th, 2013, in her 96th year, Ethel Samson of Port Union. Predeceased by her parents: Thomas and Elizabeth Manuel (nee Lodge), husband Kenneth Samson, son Albert Samson, brothers: Isaac, Jabez, Samuel and Jack and sisters: Margaret, Amelia and Sally (Sarah). Leaving to mourn are her children: Christine (Don Russell), St. John’s, Donna (Tom King), Waterloo, ON, Neville (Edith), Port Union, and Elaine, C.B.S, daughter-in-law Joyce, Port Union. Grandchildren: Brian and Neil Russell, Angela Marfleet, Jason Berfelo and their families and Alyson Samson. Seven great-grandchildren, sister Roberta Pomeroy, as well as other family and friends. Resting at Strathie’s Funeral Home, Catalina. Funeral Service at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Catalina, Wednesday, August 7th, at 2:00 p.m. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Catalina.
