BOURGEOIS, FRANCOIS "FRANKIE" - Francois "Frankie" Bourgeois of Memramcook East passed away at the Palliative Care Unit at the Moncton Hospital on August 7, 2013 at the age of 67 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born on May 28, 1946 in Memramcook East, he was the son of the late Edgar Bourgeois and the late Alice Richard. He worked as a truck driver for Atlantic Wholesale until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Angela (Bourque); one daughter, Lisa (Pierre) Bourgeois Godin of Petit Paquetville, NB; four sisters, Rita (late Henri) LeBlanc of Dieppe, Emilie (late Eddie) Butler of Moncton, Rosanna (Norbert Bourque) Bourgeois of Memramcook East and Emerise (Jacques) Boudreau of Grand Barachois; two brothers, Ulysse (Eva) Bourgeois and Clovis Bourgeois both of Memramcook East; two sister-in-laws, Carmella and Clara and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his infant son Joseph, three sisters, Zina, Alma and Alva and by two brothers, Antoine and Albert.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 rte La Vallée, Memramcook on Sunday, August 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Monday, August 12 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. The funeral service will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 12 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in Notre Dame de Lourdes cemetery, Memramcook East.
