KEHOE: Ronald William Kehoe known by friends and family as Bill, age 72, of Vanguard Saskatchewan passed away at his home at Lac Pelletier, SK on August 7, 2013. The memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday August 12th, 2013 at Camp Elim Hall at Lac Pelletier. Bill is survived by his wife Glenda (Williamson), his children Tim (Lynn), Ryan (Jessica) and Jill (Jeff Talbot) and his grandchildren Ty, Tanner, Rowan and Gracyn. He is also survived by his brother Jack (Kathi), sister Maureen (Jim) and numerous brother and sister-in-laws, nephews and nieces. Bill is predeceased by his parents Bill and Iris Kehoe and his sister Kathy. Bill married his wife Glenda on October 11, 1968. They lived many happy years and raised their family in the Village of Vanguard where Bill owned and operated Kehoe Agencies Insurance Office, served as the Village of Vanguard Administrator was Secretary of the Vanguard Hospital Board and farmed. Bill and Glenda owned a cottage at Lac Pelletier for many years and resided there full time beginning in 2003 while going south to Weslaco, Texas each winter. Bill was very involved in his community and spent many years as a member of the Vanguard Lions Club and Aneroid Elks club; he was instrumental in implementing the ice plant at the Vanguard Curling Club and served on the Board of the Lac Pelletier Regional Park Board until the day he passed away. Bill was an avid curler and had a love of the game of baseball; he spent many hours helping out with his kid's baseball teams. Bill loved hunting and fishing and in later years shared that love with his grandkids fishing at the lake and gopher hunting. He would light up when his family was around and especially loved spending time with his grandkids. In lieu of flowers donations can be made towards the Vanguard Ice Plant in care of the Village of Vanguard (PO Box 187, Vanguard, SK SON 2VO) or to the Lac Pelletier Regional Park (RR #1, Box 12, Site 6 Wymark, SK SON 2YO.
