BRUN, ANGELLA - Angella Brun, 77, of Saint-Lambert, Québec and formerly of Shemogue, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born in Shemogue on July 19, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Brun (Brine) and Herminnie (Doiron) Brun. Throughout her teaching career she taught in many schools from Shemogue to Germany. She finished her career in Saint-Hubert, PQ. A caring and thoughtful person, Angella loved to travel, had many good friends and enjoyed her family and her cherished nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sisters and brothers: Bernadette Dale (James) of Ottawa, Carmel Leger (Leslie) and Patsy Landry (Jean-Paul) of Cap-Pelé, Alverie Brun (Ernestine) of Trois-Ruisseaux and Laurie Brine (Rachelle) of Quispamsis; by 13 nieces and nephews; and by 19 great-nieces and -nephews. Special thanks to Carmen Julien and Robert Morin for the care given to Angella during her illness.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste.-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé, on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 10:30 am. Interment in the St.-Thimothée Cemetery. In memory of Angella, a contribution to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation (Oncology) or to the St.-Thimothée R.C. Cemetery in Shemogue would be appreciated.
