Orpha Mary Hunt
1925 - 2013

Orpha passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 23, 2013. She was predeceased by her parents Florence and Harold Hunt; her brother Dennis Hunt in 2004 and her sister Lois Ehmann in 2012. Orpha is survived by her nephew Paul (Lori) Hunt of Regina, SK; her niece Deb (Bob) Friesen of Saskatoon, SK; her niece Ila (Vern) Barron of Sherwood Park, AB; her nephew Bill (Betty) Ehmann of Yorkton, SK; her niece Becky (Bob) Warnke of Regina, SK; her niece Bonnie Ehmann of Regina, SK; her niece Pam (Richard) Teichreb of Regina, SK; as well as numerous extended and a host of great friends. She was born on June 19, 1925 in Glamis, SK. The family later moved to Shellbrook where she grew up. Orpha started her teaching career at Rosalee School in Shellbrook then continued her career at Queen Mary School in Prince Albert, SK. After retirement she continued to volunteer at many, many organizations and is going to be missed by all. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Wesley United Church, 65 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Tony Thompson officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Pineview Ladies Auxiliary, 701 – 13th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0X5.
