Chuck left this world with his beloved granddaughter Megan by his side.

He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Lorraine in 2007. He will be dearly missed by his daughter Allison (Cees) in't Veld, his son Chuck (Kate), grandchildren Megan, Mike, Fraser, Spencer, Andrew and Chris. He is also survived by five great-granddaughters, his sister Delle Larson and dozens of nieces and nephews.

Chuck enjoyed a warm and loving relationship with his family and lived a complete and fulfilling life that included many different jobs that culminated in a successful career in health and safety. He had many interests and hobbies that included building a cabin at East Barriere Lake, politics, reading and woodworking. He also enjoyed growing roses.

At the time of his passing Chuck resided at Ridgeview Lodge in Kamloops and was fortunate to have the warm and sincere care of the staff.

Chuck's family wishes to extend their appreciation to everyone at Ridgeview who helped make the last few years of his life so much better.

A Celebration of Chuck's life will take place at Kamloops Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 8th, 2013 at 1:00 P.M
