Gaylene Notenboom

Lieu de décès : Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada
Date de décès : 2 octobre 2013

GAYLENE ANN NOTENBOOM It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Gaylene Ann Notenboom, on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. Gay was predeceased by her husband Pleun; and father Percy (Evans). She leaves to mourn her sons Rob (Krista) and Chris; her mother Maureen; her sister Terry (Ian); her granddaughters Hanna and Natalia, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, in-laws and friends. Gay was very close to her family and had many, many friends; from her childhood in Lumsden, and from her time spent living in Success, Maple Creek and Swift Current with Pleun, Rob and Chris. Gay loved her granddaughters with all her heart. She was a fabulous grandmother, and made a point of being close with them. She loved telling them childhood stories of herself, Grandpa Pleun, Rob, Uncle Chris, Auntie Terry, Great Grandma Maureen and Great Grandpa Percy. She lit up when she saw them and was so very proud of them. She loved going for walks, reading, and visiting with family and friends. She lived up to her name – she was always happy and enjoyed having a good laugh. She was an extremely caring, supportive, encouraging, generous and patient person. There are no words to express how much she will be missed by her family and all who knew her. She left us much, much too soon. Memorial Service was held at St. Andrew’s United Church, Lumsden, SK on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Marjorie Kent officiating, followed by interment in Lumsden Cemetery and lunch at the Lumsden Town Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gay’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
