HUDSON, ELIZABETH - The passing of Elizabeth Hudson of Aroostook occurred at the Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital on October 7, 2013. Born in Fort Fairfield, Me on January 28, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Beatrice (Deyone) Rogers. Elizabeth leaves behind her husband of 60 years James Hudson; her special niece Julianna Palmer of Presque Isle, Me; and many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her sisters Margaret Rogers and Barbara Norsworthy; and her brother Richard Rogers. Elizabeth was a member of the C.W.L., a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Branch #36, and was also a Pastoral Care Agent at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital. She graduated from the Presque Isle High School in 1951.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home, 105 F. Tribe Road, with visitation on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 11 am from Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Father Curtis Sappier celebrating.Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
