Date de décès : 16 octobre 2013
Jean was born December 18th, 1924, in Sussex, England. The daughter of Arthur and Alberta Goodall.
She was predeceased by Glen Lucey, her husband of 61 years.

Jean grew up in Sussex and at 18 she joined the British Land Army at the start of WWII. This is where she met Glen Lucey, a young Canadian Soldier. A quickened courtship because of the war they were soon married and Jean was now a War Bride. She moved to Canada and in the small rural town of Rose Valley, Sask., started her family. In time, Jean, Glen and family moved to Calgary, AB then on to Kamloops B.C., which became their home.
Camping, fishing, gardening and travelling were Jean's passion, but most of all she loved sitting in the passenger seat of the truck and watching the scenery pass by. She also loved cooking, sewing, knitting and crafting; everything she made was for her family and created with love. These passions and talents she has passed on to her children and grandchildren.
Jean was a private person, but shared great friendships with her neighbour, Gail Snaith and fellow Brownie leader, Rita Mikuse.
Jean past away peacefully on October 16, 2013. Jean (Mom, Gran, GG) we will miss you always and carry you in our hearts forever.
The family would like to thank all the residents and staff at Greenfield Manor for creating a wonderful community for Jean, where she had lived for the past 6 years. Also, thank you to Dr. Howie and the staff at Ponderosa Lodge for the great care they have given Jean in the last 3 months.
