Mom's lengthy journey ended peacefully on Saturday, with family by her side.

She had resided at Ponderosa Lodge for the past 18 months where she received excellent and compassionate care.

She will be sadly missed and well remembered by her daughters Arlene Soloman (Gerry), Lynn Johnson (Richard), son Ronald, grandchildren Nick (Karen), Mike, Jenny and many friends.

She was predeceased by husband Noel, a sister and three brothers.

Mom was born in Neepawa, Manitoba in 1920, grew up, married and raised a family in Winnipeg. Mom and Dad lived in Victoria for a short time before settling in Kamloops over 25 years ago. They loved their new life here and Mom especially valued the friends made through playing bridge and volunteering at the United Church Thrift Shop.

A Celebration of Mom's Life will be held in the near future.

The family extends most sincere appreciation to the staff of Ponderosa Lodge for their capable encompassment of Mom and the family at this significant time.
