SHIRLEY, MARILYN - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Janet (Chase) Shirley of Chipman, NB. Marilyn passed away at her home on October 25th, 2013 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Marilyn was born in Minto, NB on February 22nd 1955, daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Madore) Chase. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Thomas, their children, Laurie (Kevin Murray) of Fredericton, Angela Shirley of Chipman; nana’s girl, her one and only grand daughter, Alyson; Sister, Dolores Mills and special friend Aubrey of Minto; brothers, Winston (Donna) Chase of Fredericton, Robert (Florence) Chase of Fredericton, Keith (Brenda) Chase of Minto and Johnny (Vickie) Chase of Fredericton; sisters-in-law, Geraldine Chase and Sharon (Billy) Thompson; mother-in-law, Helen Shirley; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers, Jimmy and Vernon.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Marilyn’s life at the Chipman United Church on Tuesday, October 29th, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Betty-Jean Friedman officiating. A reception will follow the service. No flowers by request. Donations to a living memorial would be greatly appreciated by the family.
