GOGUEN, ZOËL - 1920 - 2013 - Zoël Goguen, 93, of Saint-Antoine, passed away at the Dr G.L. Dumont UHC, Moncton on Tuesday, October 29th, 2013. He was married to the late Rita (Caissie) Goguen. Born in Saint-Antoine, he was the son of the late Octave and the late Azélie (Allain) Goguen. Zoël worked as a janitor at the U of M for approximatly 16 years. He will be sadly missed by his seven children; Rose Goguen (Francis) of Moncton, Maria Allain (Louis), Aurore Collette, Angella Martin (Adrien), Euclide (Aurelda), and Alfred, all of Saint-Antoine, Valérie (Lyne) of Bouctouche, eighteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four daughters; Anne-Marie, Anna, and two in infancy, two sisters; Alice and Anna, five brothers; Arcade, Emile, Antoine, Lionel and Albert.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche, on Friday, November 1st, 2013 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9pm. At the request of the family there will be no funeral Mass. In Zoël's memory donations can be made to the Parkinson’s Society.
