Passed away suddenly on October 28, 2013 at the early age of 24, Stephen Careen. Predeceased by his grandfather Lawrence Dober and stepfather Paul Edison. Leaving to mourn his parents: mother Denise Edison (Wayne), father Stephen Careen (Renee); his siblings: Blake, Coady, Colin, Jamie, Kyle and Terri; his grandparents: Marie and Mike Careen of Mount Pearl, and Jean Dober of Marystown, great-grandmother Elizabeth Barker of Coachman’s Cove. Stephen will be deeply missed by a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013 from Mary Queen of the World Parish, Topsail Road. Cremation to follow the service.
