One week after celebrating her 111th birthday, our dear Mom and Nana died peacefully on October 25th, 2013 in Coquitlam BC. Mourning her death are son Charles (Caroline) Moss and daughter Betty (Lyall) Inglis, four grandchildren, Catherine Branch (Ward), Dave Inglis (Charlotte), Catherine Bauman (Randy) and David Moss (Mary) and eight great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her three stepchildren, Cleland Marshall (Donna), Mary Ann Bishop and Ruthe Thiessen (George) and eight step-grandchildren. Trudy was predeceased by her husbands, Charles Moss and Dr. Arthur Marshall, her parents, seven siblings and a grandson. She was born in Caledonia, NS and, after nurses’ training in New Jersey, she lived in Halifax and was a member of St. John’s United Church. She moved to BC in 1952 where she worked for many years at the Children's Hospital. She returned to Halifax in 1969 and was active with St. Andrew’s Wesley Church and the IWK Hospital. In 1988, she returned to BC to live with her daughter. She will be forever loved, remembered, and dearly missed by her family and many friends. A service of thanksgiving and celebration will be held at 11 am on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Como Lake United Church, 1110 King Albert Ave., Coquitlam, BC.
