R. (Scott) Baker- 47, was born in Port Williams, N. S. and has lived on Vancouver Island since 1986. On September 7 he had an industrial accident and was taken to the Vancouver General Hospital where he passed away. Scott was the son of Keith M. Baker (Ann) of LaHave, Nova Scotia and Barbara (Jess) George of Kentville, Nova Scotia. He is survived by his wife April, stepson Jordon and daughter Sasha. Scott is survived by sisters, Tamara (Stephen) Wambolt of Newcastle, Ontario and Lisa (Mitch) Gosselin of Tottenham, Ontario. He is survived by nephew Sheldon and nieces Erica, Courtney and Gabrielle. He was predeceased by his Stepfather, Harold (Dick) George. Scott was a free spirit and kept his friends and business associates close to his heart. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Port Williams Community Centre on Nov. 16, 2013 from 2-4p.m. In keeping with Scott`s giving nature, he became an Organ Donor. Scott`s ashes will remain in Chemainus with his family. Donations in memory of Scott can be made to your Charity of choice.
