RALSTON, MYRTLE "HONEY" LOUISE - Peacefully at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour, NB on November 11, 2013, Mrs. Myrtle “Honey” Louise (Eldridge) Ralston, wife of the late Grover E. Ralston formerly of Beaver Harbour, NB. Born at Beaver Harbour on September 22, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Mildred (Cross) Eldridge. A loving mother and grandmother, Honey is survived by one daughter, Faye Johnston of Beaconsfield, QC, grandchildren Philip (Tracy) Johnston of New Zealand, and Christie (Stephen) Tyler of Cambridge, ON, five great grandchildren and many friends. In addition to her husband, Grover, she was predeceased by one brother, Gilbert and by two sisters, Hilda and Juanita. Prior to retirement, Honey was employed by Sears and worked in the Catalogue Sales Department. She was an avid quilter who was very social and loved to be in company of friends. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends, both young and old.
There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery, Pennfield, NB on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Brent Wagstaff officiating. In Honey’s memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
