Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit in the Miller Center on November 13, 2013 surrounded by her loving children, Ruby G. King age 73 years. Predeceased by her husband and best friend Leslie, her infant grandson Matthew, brothers: David and Clayton; sister, Patricia. Leaving with cherished memories are her loving son Neil and daughter Marilyn (Charlie); grand daughter, Hope; step-granddaughter, Cassandra (Ron); brothers: James (Eileen) and Erwin (Cathy, deceased) as well as sisters: Pearl (Cecil) and Margaret (Clifford); sisters-in-law: Joan and Lynn Ralph, Florence Tilley and Mable Perkins; also leaving with precious memories are her, nieces, nephews other relatives and many wonderful friends. At Ruby’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Saturday and Sunday from 12 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the United Church, Bauline on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the United Cemetery, Pouch Cove Line.
