On the evening of Nov. 6, their wedding anniversary, Mom joined Dad in the Kingdom of Heaven. Also waiting to embrace her were parents Rod and Ann, brother Steve and sister Jean.

Her gifts of love, kindness and compassion, which we were blessed to receive, will be shared by her "family," Norm, Wendy, Beverly, Lisa, Chad, Kiel, Luke, Ann, Earl, Leah, Wendell, Nicole, Sandra, Jay and Kevin.

"Love is never gone, for the spirit remembers and love goes on."

Throughout the long time she was given on Earth, singing provided her with immense pleasure. An avid reader, a book was always nearby.

Mom did not regard her life as a journey but rather an adventure and touched so many lives with her beautiful smile and gentle nature. She was always a fiercely independent, caring and proud lady.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Stoltze, Dr. Stinson and the nurses on 3 West for their care and concern during Mom's final days.
