Robert “Bob” Snell
July 14, 1947 – November 27, 2013

SNELL, Robert “Bob” passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday November 27th, 2013 at the age of 66. After many years of struggling with his illness, Bob slowly lost his courageous battle. Bob was a member of the Prince Albert City Police for four years and then became part of the SGI team where he worked for 37 years until August 12th, 2013. “His Family and his Job were his World”. He will always have a very special place in the hearts of all those who loved him and will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 37 years, Simone (Casavant); sons, Shawn (Amy Stratychuk) and Jeffrey; mother Bernice Snell; brother Ken (Karen) Snell and their children Charma (David) Larre, Paul (Angela) Snell, Jonathan (Sabrina) Snell; sister-in-law Gloria Casavant and her children Carla Green, Ryan (Eunkyung) Casavant; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Blanche & Garry Klimek; brother-in-law & sister-in-law Felix (Marlene) Casavant and their children Marina (Jay) Grosskleg, Kyle (Caylah) Casavant, Brad (Meghan) Casavant, Brett Casavant and numerous great nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father Robert Snell; his in-laws Armand & Eva Casavant; step-dad Ernie Boucher and numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2013 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with celebrant Reverend Father Travis Myrheim. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Sacred Heart Cathedral Restoration Project.
