BARNES, ANN - It is with sad and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ann Rowena Barnes, of Apohaqui, NB age 66, wife of the late Lloyd Barnes, which occurred at the St. Joseph’s Hospital, Saint John, NB, on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. She was born on March 28, 1947 in Kars, NB. Ann is survived by her daughter Stephanie Barnes of Sussex, NB; son Aaron Barnes (Nathalie St-Onge) of Dieppe, NB; grandson Glendon Barnes; sisters Fran Burley, Linda Law, Millie (Malcolm) Jones, Debbie (Bill) Carr; brother Bud (Judy) Urquhart; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mom, Ruby Sherman.
She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home & Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral service, conducted by Gary Barnes, will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel at 11:00 AM, on Monday, December 2, 2013. Interment will take place in Orange Cemetery, Kars, NB.
