Brenda Jean Leslie, age 65, Middle Musquodoboit, NS, passed away December 9, 2013 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Corner Brook, NL, she was the daughter of Evelyn (Parsons) Norman, Corner Brook and the late Herbert Norman. Brenda was dedicated and loyal to her family and friends, as well as her church and community. Besides her mother, she is survived by siblings: Derek (Vicky Hynes), St. Johns, NL; Diane Wood, French Lake, NB; Brian (Sandi), Cole Harbour, NS; Christine, Craig (Jewel Rushton), both of Dartmouth, NS; Karen Byrne (Clinton), Linda Skinner (Randy), both of York Harbour, NL; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in St. James United Church, Upper Musquodoboit; Rev. Michael Henderson officiating. The family will meet friends for a reception downstairs in the church following the service. Memorial donations may be made to Tatamagouche Centre.
