FRAUGHTON, Letha Anne “LeeAnne” – 60, Moncton, N.B., formerly of Quinan, Yarmouth Co., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 8, 2013, at home. Born July 11, 1953 in Quinan, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Gladys (Nickerson) Fraughton. Having graduated as a dental hygienist in 1974, LeeAnne worked for a short time in that profession, after which she became a full-time caregiver to the elderly until the time of her death. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cribbage, darts and bingo. She is survived by her four brothers, Burton (Marsha) Farughton, Gary (Darlene) Fraughton, Roy (Gail) Fraughton and David (Helen) Fraughton, all of Quinan, as well as many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and there was a visitation from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the home of her brother, Gary. A funeral mass was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Saint Agnes Catholic Church, Quinan, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. It was requested that there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of choice.
