LeBLANC, ELISÉE - 1931 - 2013 - Elisée LeBlanc, 81, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Dr Georges L Dumont UHC in Moncton on Monday, December 9th, 2013. He was married to Murielle (Pellerin) LeBlanc. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Pierre and the late Claire (Cormier) LeBlanc. Elisée was employed for many years with the Co-Op Feed Mill in Moncton in quality control. He was very active in the community, a former president of the Golden Age Club of Bouctouche, a 3rd degree member of K of C Council 7010, past president of the Caisse Populaire of Bouctouche and several other organizations. He will be sadly missed by his wife Murielle, his six children; Louise Fontaine (Ron Keeley) of Moncton, Janice Melanson (Jean-Guy) of McKees Mills, Diane LeBlanc Donacki of Saint-Antoine, Monique LeBlanc of Saint-Grégoire, Ronald (Catherine) and Guy (Denise) both of Bouctouche, his ten grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Annie LeBlanc of Moncton, and several nieces and nephews. Elisée was predeceased by four sisters; Aldéa, Odila, Rose-Mai and infant Odila, and four brothers; Alban, Léonide, Joseph and infant Mederic.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’Église, Bouctouche, on Wednesday, December 11th, 2013 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday from 1 to 2:45pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church in Bouctouche on Thursday, December 12th, 2013 at 3:00pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
