Maurice passed away at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, B.C. on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the age of 82 years.

Maurice was born at Lousana, Alberta on November 2, 1931 and had been a resident of Anglemont since 1992.

Maurice is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marilyn Lenore; two sons William Wayne of Anglemont, B.C. and Brian Maurice of Egmont, B.C.; grandson Darrell William (Kristi) of Devon, AB and two great great-grandchildren Jade and Skye. Also surviving are his sisters Doris Klein of Red Deer and Lucille Paulson of Didsbury, AB.

A Prayer Service will be held from the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm, B.C. on Tuesday, December 17th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Father George LaGrange OMI officiating.

A Memorial reception will be held at the Anglemont Community Centre on Wednesday, December 18th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
