Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on December 23, 2013, with her son Murdoch and daughter-in-law Carol at her side. Predeceased by her husband Henry Douglas Burry on November 4, 2012. Leaving to mourn her three sons: Murdoch (Carol), David (Jeannie) and Donald (Deanne); six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and staff and friends at St. Patrick's Mercy Home. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Friday, December 27th, from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Funeral service to be held from the Parish of the Ascension, Smallwood Drive, on Saturday, December 28th with interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Field of Honor. No flowers by request.
