HENDRICKSON, HELEN M. - 1921-2013 - Helen M. Hendrickson of Riverview passed away with her loving family by her side at the Salvation Army Lakeview Manor Nursing Home, on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at the age of 92 years. Born in Barachois, she was the daughter of Eloi and Rose Anne Leger. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Riverview. A loving and caring mother and grandmother, she will be sadly missed by her daughters, Greta Arsenault (Stan) of Riverview, Sandra Flemming (Gerry) of Brampton, ON and Marsha Harmer (Louis) and Wanda Ward (John), both of Riverview; son, Larry Hendrickson (Jean) of Riverview; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Helen was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Hendrickson in 1977; and a son, Donald in 2002.
Visitation will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Fatima St., Riverview on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 11:00 am with Fr. Phil Mulligan officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory can be made to the Lakeview Manor Nursing Home.
