On January 1st, 2014, Sandra went peacefully in her sleep to be with the Lord.
Sandra attended Fitzwater School and from there she began working her "jobs". These jobs included Kamloops Society for Community Living, Rainbow Ribbons, Book Binder and Greystone. Sandra loved her "jobs" and would never want to miss a day's work. Sandra touched many hearts through her years with her work programs, and she was always ready at the end of the driveway waiting for the Handy Dart to arrive. A huge part of Sandra's life was the numerous years she was involved with Special Olympics and was blessed to be coached by her father George. She was a great swimmer, bowler and softball player.
Sandra was born July 12th, 1959 in Kamloops, B.C. and is survived by her loving mother Edith Nystoruk, siblings: Shirley (Dave), Gordon (Brenda), Brian (Sheila), Doug (Pierina), Cheryl (Scott), Johnny, Robert and Andrea. Also left behind to cherish her memory are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Sandra was predeceased by her father George.
The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Yanko for his years of caring for Sandra Lee, the staff at the Hamlets, her special friends Michelle, Catherine and Debbie, and all the volunteers that contributed to making Sandra's life complete.
