Peacefully, at home, on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at age 83.
Loving wife for 61 ½ years of Leslie “Les”. Proud mother of Debbie (Ken Christensen), Carol MacLauchlan (Watson Gale) and Robert (Sherry). Adoring Nan to Greg (Sara) Christensen; Emma, Keltie, Lauchlan and Duncan Gale; Bronwyn, Devyn, Cameron and Jock MacLauchlan and great-Nan of Morgan and Ty. Dear sister of Arch Munn (Ruby) and predeceased by sister Mett Winter (the late Walcot). Lovingly remembered by Walter (Violet), Edith (Gregor), Malcolm (Erma), Gideon (Verna), Beth (Bruce), Alvin (Joyce), Harry (Marjorie), Wanda (Walter), Marguerite (Ken), Joyce (John) and a loving close extended MacLauchlan clan.
Win was a lifelong proud, feisty Newfoundlander who added spice to everybody’s life. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) on Friday, January 17, from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m., followed by a reception.
