MATHESON, GERALD (SONNY) MILFORD - The death of Gerald (Sonny) Milford Matheson of New Zion, NB occurred Tuesday, January 14th, 2014 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born in Back Bay, NB he was the son of the late Gerald and Nellie (Leslie) Matheson. He is survived by his loving wife, Ethel (Richardson) Matheson; his sons, Gaylen (Maryanne) of Minto, NB and Keith (Janet) of Ripples; his grandchildren, Mandy (Mike), Nicole (James), Bradley (Chantal), Aimee (Jamie) and Luke (Kate); his great grandchildren, Maggie, Olivia and Chloe; brothers, Garnet (Linda) of Back Bay and Brent (Brenda) of Saint George; sisters, Janet (Leo) of Saint Andrews, Norma (Cyril) of Back Bay and Leona (Colin) of Saint George; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Sonny was predeceased by his sister, Mary and his brother, Burton.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB) with visiting on Thursday evening from 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held 12:00noon, Friday, January 17th, 2014 from Christian Community Church. Interment will take place in Full Gospel Cemetery at a later date.
