Joseph Gaudet
GAUDET, JOSEPH - 1920 - 2014 - Joseph Gaudet, 93, of the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Bouctouche and formerly of Saint-Paul, passed away peacefully at the Manoir on Sunday, January 19th, 2014. He was married to Ella (Babineau) Gaudet. Born in Saint-Paul, he was the son of the late Nazair and the late Odile (Léger) Gaudet. He was a farmer and he also worked for twenty three years as a mailman. He will be sadly missed by his wife Ella, his four children; Annette Champagne (Claude) of Bouctouche, Roger of Saint-Paul, Lina LeBlanc (Gérald) of Saint-Antoine and Charles (Andréa) of Moncton; his eight grandchildren, his ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Joseph was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by two sons; Emile and Jacques (2012); two sisters; Elise and Claira and seven brothers; Eloi, Marc, Frank, André, Louis, Patrick and Isidore.
Visitations will be held in the Saint-Paul Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, on Tuesday, January 21st, 2014 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9pm and on Wednesday from 2 to 3:15pm. Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Paul Church on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 3:30pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
