1913-2014 - Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Chancellor Park on Sunday, January 26, 2014 Elizabeth Harvey (nee Newhook) in her 101st year. Predeceased by her mother and father: Tryphena and Hubert Newhook; brothers: Ernest, Cleophas and Hubert; sisters: Martha, Maud and Bertha; son-in-law David Symonds; infant step granddaughter Nicole Harvey. Leaving to remember her forever are husband Donald; daughter Judy Symonds; step son Gregory Harvey (Sheila); grandsons: Todd Symonds (Lisa) and Matthew Symonds; granddaughter Jillian Roberts (Joe); great grandson Evan Roberts; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Chancellor Park who cared for her with love, respect and dignity and whom she dearly loved in return. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and then on Wednesday from 10am-12noon. Funeral service to be held from The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Avenue on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
